Corrugated aluminum pipes, as a rule, are used for equipping ventilation ducts. Since the 90s of the last century, a corrugated ventilation pipe has been finding in industrial buildings, in residential buildings and even in agriculture.
The secret of its popularity lies in the unique qualities that are typical for constructions, which include aluminum corrugated tubes:
The ability to bend in any direction, which allows the ventilation installation only on the couplings, without using costly branches.
Acceptable strength, which makes it possible to fix the pipe on a mounting surface without using a basic structure which supports the pipeline. Typically, the pipe is fastened to a conventional dismountable socket with a screw in the bottom part.
The minimum volume in the folded state allows to store all the pipes for a sufficiently subdivided ventilation system in a small back room. After stretching, even the smallest aluminum corrugated pipe passes into a fairly long section of the ventilation pipework.
High corrosion-resistance: the pipe is made of aluminum, which means that there are no corrosion processes in the body of the pipeline.
Easy installation, due not only to the simplified coupling process, but also to the low weight of the pipes, as aluminum is a very light metal.
Inertness of the main structural material of such a duct. Aluminum practically does not react with any chemical compounds, including well-heated media.
The fire-resistance of an aluminum ventilation corrugated duct, which won´t burn itself as well as won´t let other objects take fire. In addition, when heated, aluminum does not spread
suffocating smoke.
